Grab Third Velocity Ventures Over, Three Finalists Become Part of Solutions for Merchants

Grab choose Printerous, KliknClean, and LunaPOS to the Partner Solutions marketplace GrabMerchant

Grab Ventures Velocity (GVV) finally declared that the five finalist startups had graduated from the acceleration program. LunaPOS, Printerous, Click Clean, GetCraftand workmate declared passed after passing a series of guidance from Grab since last May.

The big theme of the third batch of GVV is still about empowering micro, small and medium enterprises with a focus on culinary businesses. Managing Director Grab Indonesia Neneng Goenadi said that during this period the five startups received various types of guidance ranging from funding, financial management, to business development strategies directly from the Group CEO & Co-Founder. "This is clear evidence to support the startup ecosystem and accelerate the digital economy through economic digitization," said Neneng.

One of the most important parts of the program's mentorship series is the opportunity to test the service for eight weeks by offering the finalists' services through the platform GrabFood. This is important for the finalists because as the platform knows Grab is one of the largest in Southeast Asia. Stepping into their app ecosystem is direct access to hundreds of thousands merchant and millions of users.

Marketplace for partners merchant

From the service test, Grab giving LunaPOS, Printerous, and KliknClean the opportunity to join the ecosystem Grab as an official business partner. Meanwhile, LunaPOS offers cashier solutions, inventory management, to accounting-based services cloud; Printerous provides printing and packaging services for culinary businesses; and KliknClean offers cleaning solutions for culinary businesses with disinfectants, pest control, up to fogging.

According to Neneng, the services of the three startups can be accessed by partners merchant Grab Lewat marketplacePartner Solutions GrabMerchant.

"Their solutions will be found by partners merchant Grab is our new solution. Marketplace We will provide additional services starting from POS, cleaning, and digital printing at affordable prices," added Neneng.

The presence of LunaPOS, Printerous, and KliknClean adds to the list of startups partnered with Grab in meeting needs merchant they. From their official website, apart from the three startups, there are other names such as Pawoon, Qasir, Majoo, Vireo, and iSeller. Neneng said the number of partners in marketplace this will continue to grow.

As the pandemic has changed many people's habits, the transformation of services to digital platforms is one of the positive impacts. This is also reflected in achievements Grab which received more than 350 thousand SMEs and 32 thousand traditional traders onto their platform since the pandemic took place.

"About 99% of business actors are MSMEs, meaning that the potential is huge. Therefore, we really support startups that focus on helping MSMEs so that MSMEs can really be helped to survive, especially during this pandemic they have to digitize," concluded Neneng.

The series of the third batch of GVV programs has already taken place since March 2020. Culinary sector SMEs from the start have been set as the focus for this latest batch of participants. Grab partnered with BRI Ventures as a strategic partner in this program.
