SIRCLO and Shopify Announce Collaboration on Solutions to Strengthen Local Market

Shopify integrates its technology infrastructure with SIRCLO's SWIFT Omnichannel service

Two startups in the sector e-commerce, SIRCLO and Shopify announced a strategic partnership to strengthen its platform and be able to accommodate various business needs in Indonesia. In this agreement, Shopify will integrate its technology infrastructure with SIRCLO's technology services, namely SWIFT Omnichannel.

As stated in their official statement, both are trying to transform the retail experience online so that it can be adapted to the needs of an ever-changing market. This collaboration is also said to be able to serve businesses at various scales, from beginners, medium-sized companies, to large companies.

"Our goal is to simplify operations and management in retail commerce going forward," said Bharati Balakrishnan, Country Head & Director for Shopify India and Southeast Asia.

Balakrishnan added, this collaboration provides local, comprehensive and scalable solutions for small and medium business owners, as well as large companies that manage business across marketplaces and have D2C websites.

For your information, SIRCLO is a startup e-commerce enablers which offers solutions in the segment enterprise, entrepreneur, and new retail. Based on information on the official website, SIRCLO solutions have been used by around 1000 corporations, 1 million business owners, and reached 25 million end users.

Meanwhile, Shopify is a platform E-commerce and website builder from Canada and operating in Indonesia since 2013.  Globally, Shopify has reached millions of merchants from 17 countries.

Furthermore, he explained a number of benefits that business people can obtain through integrated SIRCLO and Shopify solutions, including:

    • Global reach for customers and digital marketing tools which is claimed to be right on target.

Therefore, this collaboration is Shopify's strategy to accommodate the special needs of businesses and consumers in Indonesia through a digital marketing solution approach, payment methods and expedition services.
