OLX Autos Participates in the Car Sales and Purchase Ecosystem Through Tokopedia

Quoting from the McKinsey report, 92% of respondents said they had tried new shopping behaviors, with 56% of them trying to shop digitally. Of these 56% of respondents, 88% of them answered that they still want to shop digitally even when the pandemic is over. These findings empower OLX Autos to widen its marketing channels.
OLX Indonesia's Classified & New Business Director Agung Iskandar said that every customer has different needs and preferences, especially since they are increasingly prioritizing security and convenience in ordering various services to transacting only from home. Therefore, the ease of transacting through digital platforms has become a habit.
"With this collaboration, we hope to help customers find the progress of the used car ecosystem through alternative options that customers can find on Tokopedia," said Agung in an official statement, Tuesday (16/2).

"Hopefully this synergy can also help the Indonesian people meet their needs, including for used vehicle products, more definitely, easily and without having to leave the house."
In this partnership, customers can enjoy a variety of OLX Autos services, including Home Inspection services. In this service, a team of mechanics from OLX Autos will help customers check their cars. Actually Home Inspection is available online offline scattered in various locations.
But now users don't need to go to the store offline, the OLX Autos team will come to inspect the car, informing the inspection results in detail while implementing health protocols. Users can order this service based on location and make payments using various methods already available on Tokopedia.
In addition, OLX Autos on Tokopedia also offers car buying and trading transactions and viewing car lists online online. After the customer feels that it matches the car they want to buy, the agent from the OLX Autos account will direct the customer to one of the OLX Autos services, Sell-Buy-Exchange Add and OLX Authorized Dealer to be able to see the dream car firsthand.
The demand for used cars is increasing
Nationally, car sales in Indonesia fell 47,8% on an annual basis as of October 2020 due to the pandemic. Even so, the demand for used cars on online platforms has actually increased by 600%.
