Moladin Releases Application to Help Car Dealer Governance

The Moladin Dealer application makes it easy for dealer owners to manage sales and financing

Moladin Group officially launched an application that makes it easier for car dealer owners to operate. This platform functions to simplify and increase transparency of dealer operational activities.

Dealers play an important role in connecting buyers with lenders. However, they are often faced with issues related to data recording and interaction with various stakeholders. Additionally, car dealers also have limited access to technology services. The factors above are said to hamper their business growth.

"Our close relationship with dealers over the past seven years has given us a deep understanding of the challenges dealers face," said CPO Moladin Praz Perkasa.

The Moladin Dealer application is currently only available for Android device users. The claim is that this application has been downloaded by around 5.000 dealers.

Meanwhile, Moladin has prepared a number of features to overcome the challenges above, including tracking loan ceilings, tracking collection cycles, monitoring ongoing and past loans, early loan repayment, and access to post-loan disbursement documents.

Apart from that, the Moladin Dealer application also automates a number of business processes that are usually carried out manually by salesforce. That way, they can focus on preparing more strategic initiatives, such as building relationships with dealers.

"The Moladin Dealer App empowers dealers with efficient technology and processes, saving time and reducing reliance on manual tasks. We will add more features to further simplify dealers' work in the future."

Automotive platforms are quite affected by the macroeconomic situation. Several players car marketplace, such as Moladin and OLX Autos made employee reductions last year. Then, car marketplace from India, Cars24 has left the Indonesian market even though it has only been operating for less than 2 years.

Moladin also went into business financing to strengthen its used car sales ecosystem. However, this situation does not seem to have dampened the emergence of new players, one of which is Galemoru, a new car sales platform which is claimed to be the first in Indonesia. This platform will launch at the end of 2023.
