Bhinneka Adds Portfolio of B2B Products and Services for the MSME Segment

Collaborating with "enable partners" including Mekari, Payrollbozz, Omegasoft, and Krishand Software

Platform E-commerceBhinneka announced its latest collaboration with a number of partners enablers to strengthen the product and service portfolio for the MSME segment. Among them are Mekari, Payrollbozz, Omegasoft, and Krishand Software.

In his official statement, the Chief of Commercial and Omnichannel Vensia Tjhin said that he considered that MSMEs generally still used a number of business activities manually, for example financial recording and data management. With shifting going digital, MSME actors can allocate time and energy for other productive aspects.

According to him, individual businesses will definitely develop into business entities that will absorb new workers. However, in line with this, the development of the MSME business will create new challenges, especially related to the development of business governance.

In addition, generally the end of the year is the right momentum for MSME players to evaluate and plan their business next year. Therefore, the addition of these products and services is expected to encourage business people to start digital transformation so that they can increase their business scale and capacity.

"The addition of this enabling partner can encourage business people to enjoy the optimal benefits of the Bhinneka platform as a partner one-stop-solution center, said Venice.

In this collaboration, Mekari offers a number of solutions for managing costs, expenses, customer transaction data, suppliers at a price of IDR 199 thousand per month. These solutions will produce a report that can help businesses formulate and make strategic decisions.

Then, Payrollbozz provides a payroll solution (payroll), Krishand Software serves the aspects of taxation (PPh21, VAT, etc.), eFaktur, stock management, and invoice, as well as Omegasoft which offers a transaction payment management system or Point of Sales System (POS).

"Therefore, support for MSMEs is needed to encourage them to innovate, accelerate digital transformation, and increase production capacity," he added.

MSME digital transformation

Referring to data from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, MSMEs are included in the National Economic Recovery (PEN) scheme, where the Government allocates PEN budget for MSMEs amounting to RP161,2 trillion or 21% of the total budget.

This shows how MSMEs are one of the strong foundations of the economy in Indonesia. To help restore this, the Government seeks to encourage MSMEs to go digital along with changes in consumption behavior from offline to online since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

In his interview with DailySocial some time ago, CEO of Mandiri Capital Indonesia Eddie Danusaputro revealed that POS is the starting point for various MSME business solution needs that will emerge and deserve attention.

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reports that the number of MSMEs in Indonesia has reached 64 million. However, only around 14 million or 22% are using e-commerce platforms as of August 2021.
