MyRobin Completes A Pre-Series Funding Round

The investors involved include Vulpes Ventures, Accion Venture Lab, Antler, and SOSV

Blue collar worker platform MyRobin said it had booked pre-series A funding. It did not mention the amount of investment received, but it was said that this fundraising had actually been completed since the end of 2021.

The investors involved in this round include Accion Venture Lab, Vulpes Ventures, and a number of others. Meanwhile, their previous investors such as Antler and SOSV were also involved.

MyRobin Co-Founder & CEO Siddharth Kumar said, platforms like MyRobin are now relevant and needed by blue collar worker to get the right job. In addition to providing job opportunities, the platform also provides appropriate education and training to members who are members.

Currently MyRobin has a worker community of more than 2 million people spread across 100 cities in Indonesia. They noted that 95% of them were in the 18-35 year age group and were high school/vocational school graduates and skilled workers. Overall, more than 100 companies have been served by MyRobin.

Currently they are serving businesses in tier 1 and 2 cities such as Jabodetabek, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Makassar, Medan and several other cities in Kalimantan, Sumatra and Java. MyRobin also wants to continue to expand their service area rapidly to smaller cities.

"Our business model and monetization strategy is to charge companies management fees. Calculated on top of total labor costs. Nothing is deducted from our partners' wages," Siddharth said.
