Staffinc Employee Management Startup Reportedly Raises Series B Funding [UPDATED]

Altara Ventures led the funding round with participation from Antler, Access Ventures, K9 Industries and Pacific Trustees

A startup that provides a worker management platform, Staffinc, is reported to have raised series B funding of $3,9 million (more than IDR 59,4 billion). Based on regulatory filings as quoted from Venture Cap, Altara Ventures became lead investors, with participation from Antler, Access Ventures, K9 Industries, and Pacific Trustees.

To DailySocial, Staffinc Co-founder and CEO Wisnu Nugrahadi stated that he could not comment further regarding this funding news.

"For now, we cannot convey anything related to funding. We are currently focusing on developing technology to facilitate the employment process of large-scale companies," he said.

Altara is a longtime investor who previously led in a $2021 million Series A round in 5. Followed by other investors, namely Access Ventures, XA Network, iSeed SEA, as well as two investors in the previous round, namely Golden Gate Ventures and Antler.

Founded in 2018, Staffinc started its business as Sampingan (brand previously), a platform that connects blue-collar workers across a variety of jobs. In the latest data revealed, to date Staffinc has more than 1,7 million workers in more than 180 cities in Indonesia. Its services have been used by more than 310 companies.

After rebrandingwith new name, Staffinc ensures that now companies are not only focusing on blue collar workers for positions part time only, but also full time, and other potentials.

Staffinc solutions enable enterprise clients to simplify the recruitment process, by automatically matching each project's specific requirements with the most suitable job candidates. The solution ensures they can hire a qualified workforce with the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the company's success.

Apart from that, the Staffinc Suite workforce platform can also be used to facilitate administrative processes such as attendance, work scheduling, assignments and payroll automatically, thus allowing clients to focus on providing optimal services.

Through several programs Staffinc also offers benefits to workers. Among them, more targeted training upskill of these workers, tailored to the needs of the company. The second is financial access for those who have been curated by Staffinc in the form of Earned Wage Access (EWA).

The service is presented after receiving feedback from workers who often find it difficult to work for various reasons, starting from not having the money to buy fuel and others.
