MTARGET Launches AI-Based Email Writing Assistant "DIA"

SaaS platform for marketing automation MTARGET officially launched Digital Intelligence Assistant (DIA), an email-based writing assistant artificial intelligence (AI). This AI-based e-mail feature, which is the first in Indonesia, is designed to solve problems writer's block and blank page syndrome content writers often experience, incl email marketers.

Previously, last January, MTARGET was selected as one of the Indonesian startups participating in the Microsoft Founders Hub program. This partnership has played an important role in developing DIA with the support of the workforce of OpenAI, the company that developed ChatGPT. Microsoft itself is known to be included in the ranks of OpenAI investors.

The DIA feature can be enjoyed by all MTARGET users on the page dashboards each. This AI-based smart assistant works like a human by writing subject, Preheaderand e-mail body according to the order received. This solution allows the marketing team to focus on the bigger strategy and free up time to do other things.

In using this feature, users can start by writing prompts, then the AI ​​system will display words that match the directive. The results can also be edited and adjusted later. Instead of making people lazy, it is said that DIA will help workers be more productive and save time.

MTARGET CEO Yopie Suryadi believes that this technology can help companies improve efficiency and effectiveness in their email marketing. In addition, the retail and financial industries are said to be the two sectors that benefit the most from this solution considering email users marketing mostly come from these two sectors.

Yopie considers that the ChatGPT product from OpenAI is the best with hyping still spreading to this day. Even so, the AI ​​model used by DIA is impersonal conversational like ChatGPT. This is what makes it very suitable for internal use email marketing.

"There is a risk, of course error or whatever. However, I don't see this as a major hindrance as it is intended to help (assists) is not for writing. Still needed skill and creativity of the author," he added.

In global itself, platform email marketing third party, Mailchimp had launched a similar campaign at the Super Bowl. However, currently the feature is known to be write-only subject, have not yet reached the content content stage.

Next focus

As is known, Microsoft had announced the layoffs of around 10.000 employees as an efficiency measure after the company decided to increase investment in technology company OpenAI. Related to this, Yopie acknowledged that the conditions MTARGET when the pandemic is not okay. Even so, the company maintains not to do so layoffs.

Personally, Yopie has a principle not to be enslaved by technology, but to use technology as a means of support. "Instead of threatening, technology adds value from the workers themselves. There are many things that can be learned and implemented. Like having a mentor or coach person in the world of work. That's rare these days," he said.

Currently MTARGET focus to be the email company as its main identity, the products that will be launched in the future will be very varied, and all of them are centered on email.

"In Q1 2023, we have launched two new products, namely SONAR-Email Tracker (Google Chrome Extension) and Purify-Email Database Cleansing Tools. The main focus is to get revenue and maintain profitability. We may not be the biggest yet, but we're definitely the best for now," he closed.
