Startup Point of Sales LUNA Books Funding Led by TNB Aura and Seedstars

LUNA has been used by more than 7 thousand active merchants spread across 70 cities, with growth of more than 20% per month

Today (12/10), Startup point of sale LUNA announced the initial stage of funding with an undisclosed amount. TNB Aura, through the TNBA Scout initiative, with participation from Seedstars, became an investor lead In this round, investors from the previous round were joined, namely 1982 Ventures, Century Oak Capital, and Prasetia Dwidharma.

LUNA last announced it received pre-seed funding in 2021 from 1982 Ventures. Grab Ventures also became an investor in the company that entered in 2020. At that time, LUNA was selected to be one of the finalists in the accelerator program created Grab, that is Grab Ventures Velocitybatch 3th.

Through this investment round, MOON FABRIC plans to recruit talent across functions, expand to new cities in Indonesia, and invest in the development of a SaaS platform to realize its ambition as the only platform retailers need to run their business.

He continued, currently retailers face a very complex and competitive market. Many have not digitized and are still using old systems that are not designed for MSME scale retailers in Indonesia. “LUNA is a complete system for retail owners to scale their business and provide a better customer experience,” he added.

LUNA Solutions

Founded in late 2019, LUNA is a complete operating system for retailers to improve operations, payments, accounting, access to financing, supply chain, digital marketing, customer relations, loyalty programs, HR, legal and compliance. It is claimed that the solution has been used by more than 7 thousand merchant active spread across 70 cities, with growth of more than 20% per month.

LUNA is led by a team of experienced retail entrepreneurs, including Abdullah Lewis (CEO), Patricco Baron (CTO), and Irianto Siah (COO).

Abdullah recognized the many difficulties Indonesian MSMEs faced in managing their businesses, and created LUNA to offer retailers a suite of tools that would help them digitize their businesses—starting with point-of-sales and expand to all other critical solutions and services.

LUNA's complete suite of solutions for retailers includes: POS system with enterprise resource planning (ERP)/accounting system (Luna POS); providing QRIS, debit and credit card payments (Luna One); financing support for MSMEs (Luna Capital); online shop (TokoLuna); and digital supply chain solutions (Luna Mart); legal support, company registration and patents (Luna Legal); helping MSMEs manage social media and advertising (Luna Ads); as well as HR management, loyalty programs, and customer relationship management offerings.
