InfraDigital Gets Series A Funding from AppWorks

Focus on helping schools digitize various administrative activities, including payments and acceptance of new students

Startup developer of management platforms for educational institutions InfraDigital announced the acquisition of series A funding for an undisclosed amount. Investments secured by AppWorks, the company invests in their early-stage funding with Fenox Ventures and several angel investors. Appworks previously also invested in funding series C Fabelio announced this month and HarukaEdu at the end of 2019 then.

As previously reported, InfraDigital is a SaaS service that makes it easier for educational institutions to start their digital transformation by digitizing student and financial data, automating operational processes, and facilitating online tuition payments. online or offline. According to the statistics submitted, InfraDigital is now active in 12 provinces and has been used by more than 350 institutions and 165 thousand students.

At the beginning of its debut in March 2018, InfraDigital was present as a startup that presented a system payment for multiple purposes (already registered with Bank Indonesia), including school fees, apartment bills, and parking fees. Along with its development, they are now focusing on accommodating educational institutions, from kindergarten to university levels, including non-formal institutions such as Islamic boarding schools and other institutions.

InfraDigital is also the innovator behind the "IDN network", which is a payment network for educational institutions built alongside startups and large retailers such as Gojek, Tokopedia, LinkAja, Blibli, Alfamart, Indomaret and various kinds provider other payments.

Pandemic accelerates digital transformation

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced educational institutions to stop activities in classrooms. Everything switches to online, and inevitably force all schools to carry out digital transformation. InfraDigital saw this as an opportunity, helped digitize their administration system.
