InfraDigital Fintech Startup Presents a Payment Platform for Conventional Businesses

Currently providing services to educational institutions, apartment owners, and parking managers

The shift in society's productivity culture to the digital realm creates many new opportunities. One of them that the InfraDigital platform is trying to take advantage of, namely by presenting a payment platform (payment gateway) for several business sectors. InfraDigital provides a customized platform for several services, namely (1) payment of tuition fees, (2) payment of apartment bills, and (3) payment of parking. In addition, it is also equipped with digital billing products for application- and API-based businesses.

Co-founder & CEO InfraDigital Ian McKenna told DailySocial the reasons behind the development of the startup he is currently working on. Development fintech in Indonesia is very significant, but most players focus on services for consumers and retail. According to Ian, traditional businesses have not benefited significantly.

"For example, billing and recording are still manual, the average transaction is still using conventional methods. In fact, the market is huge. That's why InfraDigital was created. A platform that brings all the advantages of technology fintech in a form that fits the needs of the financial team of a traditional business," said Ian.

For schools, the InfraDigital platform provides an integrated system for administrative staff, including payment channels and reminder systems. In the apartment business, it makes it easier for managers to allow customers to make payments digitally, as well as giving residents the convenience of checking bills.

As for the parking system, InfraDigital allows parking lot managers to make a monthly or daily payment system online. For users, payments can be made through several bank service options such as ATMs or through Indomaret and Alfamart outlets throughout Indonesia.

InfraDigital was founded in December 2017 together with another co-founder named Indah Maryani. The product itself is new soft launch as of March 2018, collaborating with several institutions. Recently, it received funding from Fenox Venture Capital through the GnB Accelerator. At the beginning of 2018, InfraDigital also received an injection of funds from a angel investors Johan Tahardi with an undisclosed amount.

His party claims that since its launch 4 months ago, the InfraDgital platform has now processed more than 15 thousand bills with a turnover of more than 2,5 billion Rupiah. Currently there are almost 100 institutions that have joined, dominated by education circles such as schools, universities, and course institutions.

"This month the majority of our sales have been based on referral, which is a recommendation from our client, not instant sales again. This makes us believe that the solutions from the platform that we provide really help the financial team," explained Ian.

In 2018, InfraDigital will focus its operations on adding features to the platform according to client needs. Ian also said that his party will add other business verticals in the portfolio of services provided.
