Get KliknClean, Bukalapak Now Provides On-Demand Services

Bukalapak expands services on-demand through the inauguration of the collaboration with KliknClean which has been started since the beginning of this year. Cleaning services are now interesting to do considering the ongoing pandemic which makes people minimize direct contact with people in the surrounding area.

President of BukaFinancial & Digital Bukalapak Victor Lesmana said, the presence of KliknClean in Bukalapak app is expected to provide easy access to the community to be more concerned about hygiene and health.

"As a technology company that continues to develop its features and services so that it can continue to be a solution to the various needs of the Indonesian people, this is one of our steps to realize this commitment," he explained in an official statement, Friday (26/2).

Co-Founder & CEO Click Clean Hendra Tjong also added that the company provides cleaning services with trained and professional workers to Bukalapak consumers. "With the disinfectant service from KliknClean, hopefully we can answer the challenges of the community during this pandemic in suppressing the spread of Covid-19," he said.

For the time being, cleaning services including disinfection are available in Greater Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya according to the presence of KliknClean. Hendra targets that in the future the location will be expanded.

KliknClean itself, so far has 10 types of cleaning services, ranging from deep cleaning, vacuum mites, fogging disinfectant, ironing, AC service, floor polishing, to pest control. The consumers are quite diverse for residential and office areas.

Previously, JD.id had also looked at the potential in services on-demand by releasing JD Life business unit which actually started in 2019. It includes 12 types of services, such as installation, maintenance, and cleaning services. The company cooperates with certain companies as service providers, although the identity of these partners is not disclosed.

The expansion of the type of cleaning service that KliknClean has taken illustrates how promising this segment is.
