Expand Service Distribution, Cleaner Claims Business Growth

Already has hundreds of partners and tens of thousands of active users, available on the islands of Java and Bali

Founded in 2014, the platform that provides cleaning services for TukangBersih has experienced positive business growth. To DailySocial, Executive Director of TukangBersih Ranti Sabina said, Cleaners is a company that focuses on the field of cleaning services house keeping and can be accessed in the application and website. The service is already available in major cities in Java and Bali.

In particular, the services and business models presented by TukangBersih are similar to other platforms such as Seekmi, Click Clean, Sejasa, and others. What distinguishes TukangBers from other platforms is the quality of service house keeping the style of a 5-star hotel that customers can enjoy from the service cleaning.

"Cleaner is a company engaged in the housekeeperg and is one of sister companies from PT Indocare Pacific which owns brand EcoCare. So that every growth and development of Cleaner is always supported by a big name EcoCare who prioritizes quality and customer satisfaction," said Sabina.

Since its launch until now TukangBersih has had hundreds of partners with tens of thousands of active users. Cleaner also has features daily cleaning single order and member. In the future, the company will launch cleaning service products with standard house keeping others, like ironing, gardening and general cleaning.

"Our business strategy is to create jobs and opportunities for those who have the potential and passion in the field cleaning to be able to jointly build a thriving business and social oriented. The monetization strategy that we implement is, in addition to the conventional method (using staff) for products outside the digital platform, is profit sharing with partners," said Sabina.

Pandemic and business growth

Similar to the services offered by other startups, during the early period of the pandemic, businesses encountered problems. Starting from the lack of the number of orders and adjustments to the PSBB rules issued by the government. However, at this time conditions are starting to recover, and TukangBersih launches service products that are needed by customers. Starting from disinfectant treatment, product new normal and improvement of services by using chemical containing disinfectants to maintain customer hygiene and health.

"In order to participate in the fight against Covid-19, TukangBersih together with EcoCare carry out many CSR activities to the customer and partner areas, by distributing masks and other basic necessities. In the future we will launch new products that will help the Indonesian people, both customers and partners, and maintain quality consistency," said Sabina.

To add channel distribution of services, TukangClean also establishes strategic cooperation with services e-commercee. The goal is to expand services utilizing the massive ecosystem that services have E-commerce like JD.id via J.D. Life. Meanwhile with Shopee and Akulaku currently still in the finalization process.

"Our prediction is that the cleaning service business in the future will shine brightly. One of the reasons is because today's millennials really need and like online-based services that are easier and more practical.
