Gadjian Launches the GadjianKu Mobile Application

Gadjian, which has been known as a payroll and HR management startup, launched a mobile application called GadjianKu. This application is said to have been specifically designed to assist business owners and HR practitioners in managing millennial employees.

Gadjian explained, this application is an improvement from the Gadjian employee dashboard which previously could only be accessed via a browser. GadjianKu users will get features to download salary slips for submission and leave approval, monitor attendance records, and update personal data.

GadjianKu is also equipped with features such as social media that allows employees to send emojis and greetings to coworkers on birthdays or when on sick leave. This social approach is what makes GadjianKu different from other similar applications.

CEO Gadjian Afia Fitriati said that the GadjianKu application was adapted to the lifestyle of the millennial workforce whose population continues to grow. Citing data from the Indonesian Bureau of Statistics, 1 out of 5 Indonesians totaling 265 million are millennials. The world of work also has to adjust the way they run their business.

"Millennial workers in Indonesia are used to carrying out their daily activities digitally, from ordering transportation to ordering food. So it seems odd that they still have to use a personnel administration system that is still analog and less flexible at work. Afia further explains that Gadjian has a mission to help business grow in Indonesia in managing their resources. So far they have served more than 2000 companies and managed to secure funding from Golden Gate Ventures, Maloekoe Ventures, and several other investors.
