HR Management Application "GreatDay HR" Releases Loan and Insurance Services for Employees

Complementing the financial service features that have been present before

GreatDay HR, a SaaS HR management application, released "Benefit" financial services ranging from bank loans, lending, and insurance for employees. This service comes thanks to the early-stage partnerships with Permata Bank, KoinWorks, Mercer Marsh Benefit, and Jagain.com.

Founder and CEO GreatDay HR Gordon Enns explained, employee engagement has become a major concern and challenge for HR teams across the region. Limited access to financial services is an obstacle to employee welfare and health. Employees may need loans for educational reasons, emergency medical needs, and so on.

However, due to the company's limitations in supporting its employees, many have turned to lenders with high interest rates. Or other sources of loans that actually cause great pressure for them. The same thing happens to employees who have limited access to insurance, giving rise to the assumption of uncontrollable levels of risk and stress.

According to a survey from Gallup Worldwide, out of 73 thousand employees only 8% of employees across Indonesia have strong involvement, commitment, and motivation in carrying out their work. Another 92% only see work as a routine that is repeated every day.

"Because of the increasingly strong relationship between employee performance and productivity, employee engagement and empowerment are the main reasons driving the Benefit feature development strategy for today's businesses," said Enns in an official statement.

This Benefit feature provides a solution for employees who enroll in loan or insurance planning through the GreatDay HR application at no additional cost. Employees no longer need to visit banks or insurance offices in between work hours to submit their applications.

To apply for a loan facility, employees only need to submit a request for the desired value of funds. Then choose which service provider option you want to use and finally, fill in the required data.

If you want to apply for insurance, currently new employees can choose two products, namely property and vehicle insurance. Following the existing policy, employees only need to fill in some data related to the property or vehicle they own. Then select the desired insurance such as insurance for earthquakes, natural disasters, or others. Finally, fill in your personal data and attach a photo related to the data.

"This feature provides the great advantage of a cheap registration process as a result of direct collaboration between GreatDay HR and service providers, without the need for middlemen."

Enns views the partnership with Mercer Marsh Benefit as having an important role for GreatDay HR users. This is because this company has more than 100 years of experience as an expert consulting service provider regarding increasingly complex benefits products. His clients have spread in more than 150 countries.

"In the future, we will actively add features and integration in applications with the best service providers to help meet the company's support for employee welfare efficiently," he concluded.

The GreatDay HR application accommodates employee features for submitting reimbursements, reporting attendance or leave, payroll, PPh 21 reporting, BPJS management, and work scheduling.

In addition, this application also applies the concept of social media to support communication between company teams. There is a "Like" for the best employee profile assessment points and there are reward given by the company for their contribution.

Financial service features are something that GreatDay HR emphasizes in order to provide more value to users. The application connects users with various players in the financial services industry such as multi finance, insurance, investment, banks, wallets, and online payments.

Enns said that GreatDay HR was first released in early 2018, already has 120 users from SMEs with a total of 140 thousand employees. The application is visited by employees up to 80 thousand times daily. Users are spread across Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
