How to Activate a Forfeited Number: Card Provider XL, Indosat, Telkomsel and Tri

Activate Number to XL Center Online

  • Prepare supporting files in the form of KTP, old SIM Card and Family Card
  • Visit the website address https://prioritasforyou.xl.co.id/apply/simcard-services
  • Fill in the E-form prepared with complete data
  • When it's finished, you will be informed to pick up the card at the nearest XL Center from your house

  • Choose the nearest XL Center location from home, you can find out by visiting the website https://www.xl.co.id/id/bantuan/xlcenter-lokasi to find out the location of the XL Center service
  • Prepare supporting files in the form of KTP, old SIM Card and Family Card
  • The validation process will usually take approximately 2 hours

To activate a expired card, there are several requirements for customers, including:

  • The expired number is not more than 60 days
  • Reactivity can be represented by a Power of Attorney with a stamp of IDR 10.000 and the ID cards of both parties
  • Have original Family Card and Photo of Family Card
  • Validation will be carried out by taking a photo of the customer holding his original ID
  • There is no administration fee if you top up your credit with a minimum of IDR 50.000, otherwise an admin fee of IDR 5.000 will be charged.

How to Activate Indosat Number

Indosat providers also provide services to activate expired numbers.

  • Prepare the NIK (Resident Identification Number) and No.KK (family card) that have been registered in the previous number
  • Enter NIK and No.KK
  • Wait until you receive an SMS from 4444 for further information regarding the card reactivation request

Activate the Number Through the myIM3 Application

  • Prepare the NIK (Resident Identification Number) and No.KK (family card) that have been registered in the previous number
  • Open the myIM3 application
  • Select the reactivation section on the myIM3 main page
  • Enter NIK and No.KK
  • Wait until you receive an incoming message on the myIM3 application or SMS from 4444 for further information regarding requests for card reactivation 

How to Activate Number Telkomsel

How to activate a burnt number on Telkomsel you can use the following steps:

Activate Number Via Dial Code

  • Prepare the NIK (Resident Identification Number) and No.KK (family card) that have been registered in the previous number
  • Call *888*89# from the expired number 
  • Select Reactivate card 
  • Select "Agree" for the terms
  • Enter your KTP and KK number
  • Wait until you get an SMS with information about whether the card status can be activated or not

Activate the Number in Grapari

  • Prepare NIK (Resident Identification Number), No.KK (family card) at the time of registration of the previous number and a expired SIM card
  • Visit Grapari service Telkomsel closest to the house, visitors must come alone and cannot be represented
  • Customers will be advised to top up credit or a data package of at least 10 so that the active period of the card can be extended immediately

Activate Number at Tri Outlet

  • Prepare a KTP and SIM Card number that has been burned or expired
  • Visit the nearest Tri outlet from your house
  • Customer Service will help you fill out a request form to reactivate the card
  • Submit the completed form along with the SIM Card
  • Wait until the reactivation process is complete by CS until you get a new SIM Card
