MCAS Releases DigiSaham, WhatsApp-Based Stock Information Platform

Accessed for free, but there is a premium package for in-depth technical analysis

MCAS released the WhatsApp-based DigiSaham stock platform as an educational tool for the younger generation to the capital market. Users can access this information for free by saving the DigiSaham contact number 0811-4560-8888 and sending an “MCAS” message to perform basic monitoring functions on various favorite stocks.

MCAS Director Mohammad Anis Yunianto explained, DigiStock built with an architecture that is connected directly to WhatsApp which provides easy access to information related to the capital market to all levels of society, especially the millions of retail investors registered in Indonesia. This is one of the company's initiatives built on the Enterprise Communication Platform (WhatsApp Business Solution).

He confessed that the general preferences of the users smartphone is not having too many apps in their device. This initiative is expected to simplify and facilitate various groups in obtaining information about the capital market through WhatsApp.

DigiStock has user-friendly features, such as personalization features for multiple watchlists, push/pull alerts, and intuitive, parameterized notifications. "Retail investors no longer need to sit glued to their computers because they will easily get stock price notifications via their WhatsApp," he said in an official statement, Friday (25/9).

DigiSaham can be enjoyed by everyone free of charge. Users simply enter the DigiSaham contact number. There is also a premium plan for users who need more in-depth technical analysis. There is a Gold package for Rp. 20 per month and a Diamond package for Rp. 100 thousand.

The basic difference with this premium plan with the free version is the number of shares that can enter Watchlist and charts of stock movements and financial performance that can be drawn from the last week to five years.

In this launch, the company cooperates with Telkomsel through the program Telkomsel POINTS. Customer Telkomsel can redeem 5 points for a one month subscription to the premium package.

The initiation of the launch of WhatsApp-based services is not a new thing for MCAS. Through its subsidiary, DIVA, in 2018 then released the Instant Messaging (IM) platform for ordering internet access services for travelers who want to travel abroad.

There are three products for sale, namely MiFi modem rental, SIM roaming card, and packages roaming . The ordering method is only through chat via WhatsApp and will be served by chatbot. The payment will be accommodated via virtual accounts (IT GOES).
