Cuanz is an investment information application that combines content and channels from various communities

Long time no hear from, founder of Indonesia Flight Marcella Einsteins now founded a new startup called "Cuanz". This startup seems to be Marcella's first step in the sector fintech considering that he had been in the Online Travel Agent (OTA) industry for a long time.

As a reminder, Marcella is one of the founding team (employee at the beginning of the establishment) at Tiket.com in 2012. There, he held positions as Business Manager and VP Product. In 2015, Marcella founded Indonesia Flight, a new OTA platform that facilitates flight bookings for various airlines. Indonesia Flight is said to have a different segment with Tiket.com.

Then in 2017, Indonesia Flight acquired by Blibli -- Previously, Blibli first acquired Tiket.com. After the acquisition, it is not known how Indonesia Flight's operations will continue until now.

Until September 2021 Marcella founded Cuanz with his position as Co-founder. Cuanz is an investment-related information application that combines content and channels from various stock activist communities. Users can access information as needed (customized).

DailySocial.id tried to contact Marcella Einsteins to get more information about his new startup. However, Marcella could not provide further comments.

It is known from his LinkedIn page, Cuanz focus on investment, ranging from stocks, crypto, forex, and NFT. Cuanz is noted to have partnered with more than 50 channel investation. This platform is said to havestairs up to hundreds of millions of Rupiah in the first month of operation. Cuanz also launched its app on Android and iOS devices within three months of its launch.

A quick peek at the application, Cuanz comes by offering a networking concept for investors to access information about investments, such as stocks or crypto through groups and channel. Users can subscribe for free. In addition, Cuanz also provides various mentors for those who want to learn to invest.

"Instead of being referred to as news aggregator, we call Cuanz as social investtech. We are oriented to public.com and shares.io," Marcella said in a short message to DailySocial.id.

In this context, the term social investtech refers to the concept of a social networking platform for investors, where they can discuss investments, the latest trends, including networking opportunities with the community or other investors. Take public.com for example, this platform generates revenue through a number of ways, two of which are subscription models (subscription), optional tipping for users who make transactions.

In Indonesia, the average investment technology platform adopts this model marketplace which allows retail investors to buy investment instruments more easily, such as stocks and mutual funds. Some of these platforms include Magic, Pluang, and Bibit. This platform is also equipped with features groups/channels as a forum for discussion and networking for fellow users.
