Pockets Series B Funding, Zenyum Wants To Accelerate Expansion Across Asia

Including planning a number of strategies to strengthen the business and service base in Indonesia

After pocketing series A pendanaan funding 2019 from RTP Global, Sequoia India, TNB Aura, SEEDS Capital and several other investors, direct-to-consumer platform (D2C), which offers Zenyum dental care products, has again received funding from L Catterton with an investment of $25 million. Previous Zenyum investors including Sequoia Capital India, RTP Global, Partech, TNB Aura, Seeds Capital and FEBE Ventures participated in this Series B round. So the company managed to raise a total funding of $ 40 million.

To DailySocial, Zenyum CEO Julian Artope said dental care and related products, also known as "Smile Cosmetics" are a billion-dollar opportunity across Southeast Asia. Zenyum wants to be the market leader in the fastest growing region in the world.

Regarding Zenyum's business plan in Indonesia, Julian emphasized that they have plans to expand. Since its founding in 2018, Zenyum has grown exponentially, with a 4x increase in revenue by 2020. With technology support and partner network integration, Zenyum forges collaborations with dentists that are accessible across Asia through a secure and personalized process.

"Zenyum has grown tremendously over the past year and ZenyumClear has quickly become the market leader in our segment in Asia. We are also executing on a wider category and successfully launching other Smile Cosmetic Products such as our ZenyumSonic toothbrush which has proven to be a great success story , dominates the Electric Toothbrush category on the platform e-commercee third party and sold at well-known retailers such as the Guardian," said Julian.
