Grab Announces Partnership with Yummy Corp, Expands Coverage of Cloud Kitchen

Not strategic because there is no investment commitment given Grab

Grab announced a partnership with Yummy Corp to expand the business scope of the actors culinary business in Indonesia. Combined, the two companies now operate more than 80 cloud kitchen throughout Indonesia.

In a virtual press conference today (8/2), Country Managing Director Grab Indonesia Neneng Goenadi emphasized that in this cooperation there was no investment commitment given Grab for Yummy Corp. Separately, in an official statement, Yummy Corp Co-Founder & CEO Mario Suntanu said, "Our mission is to support culinary businesses to grow in the new digital era by providing managed expansion solutions through cloud kitchen. We are very happy to work with Grab to take the mission of both companies to the next level, where speed of expansion, food quality and customer satisfaction will always be our main focus."

The next implementation of this collaboration is that Yummy Corp will provide operational management including recruiting more staff at Grabkitchen, merchant Yummy Corp is incorporated into the platform GrabFood and access the features in it, so they can receive maximum benefits.
