eFishery Brings DycodeX Team to Company to Strengthen Product Development Line [UPDATED]

Andri Yadi and team will join eFishery's AIoT & Cultivation Intelligence Product Division

eFishery announced it had done so acquire towards a team from an IoT startup DycodeX. Founder Andri Yadi and his team will now join eFishery in the AIoT & Cultivation Intelligence Product Division.

This division is the key behind the development of the eFeeder product, an automatic feeding innovation for fish and shrimp farming. By utilizing IoT technology, eFeeder has proven its ability to increase the productivity of cultivators and farmers and enable feed use efficiency of up to 30%, while providing valuable insights to cultivators and farmers regarding feed planning and crop yields.

Appoint Andri to VP

Andri Yadi was also appointed VP of the AIoT & Cultivation Intelligence Product Division at eFishery. The team will be positioned according to their expertise in IoT hardware development, firmware, artificial intelligence (AI), platforms and applications. Within this new team structure, there are ambitious plans to develop AI & IoT products in the next 2-3 years.

The plan also aims to launch more than 10 innovative products by 2024, including new IoT devices and platforms, GenAI-based products, and intelligence solutions aqua culture other.

DycodeX at a glance

Andri Yadi and his team previously focused on DycodeX, a startup founded in Bandung in 2015. There are a number of products produced, such as SMARTLivestock, Smarterbike, DytraX, and Smart Gallon -- all of these services leverage AI and IoT capabilities for automation. Long before that, since 2007 Andri was also the Founder & CEO of Dycode, who focused more on application development mobile devices.

This startup has also received funding from a number of investors and angel with value not stated. Finally they posted a round series A in 2018.

Since receiving series D funding and becoming unicorn, eFishery continues to move swiftly to double its growth. At the end of last year they did too solidify its expansion into India, with an initial debut reaching 1000 hectares of ponds and 3000 metric tons of feed.

In Indonesia alone, eFishery claims to have helped more than 200 thousand cultivators and fish farmers. The products they have are also becoming more comprehensive, starting from providing access to feed, funding, to markets for cultivators.
