Aigis Pivot Goes "Finnix", Develops Creative Industry Finance and Project Management Platform

This new SaaS service is targeted to help event organizers, production houses, advertising agencies, and concert promoters

Launched in mid-2021, Aigis as platforms insurtech which Init6, Goodwater Capital, and Y Combinator decided to do rebranding and a shift in business focus (pivots) Become a financial technology startup and project management for creative industries. Now they operate under the name Finnix.

This change in business direction was decided founder after considering developments in the business insurtech in Indonesia. Together with Finnix, they are now more focused on serving the needs of the creative industry, especially in the B2B segment --- those who use the creative industry ecosystem to help their business.

To DailySocial.id, Finnix Co-founder & CEO Reinhart Hermanus said, is currently becoming not the right time for startups to compete as a platform insurtech, because it's hard for them to do scale-up with sustainable economics.

"Our team at Aigis is aware of the challenges faced by many creative industry players in managing cash flow for their project. We believe that our new offering at Finnix will provide the solutions needed to address these challenges and help creative entrepreneurs succeed."

Finnix Service

Specifically Finnix offers financial technology and project management systems, such as dashboards for project collaboration, budget management, and payment solutions tailored specifically to meet the needs of creative agencies.

We are also developing technology products (project management tools), so that our financing is accompanied by improvement on the client's internal operational side," Reinhart said.

In May 2022, Aigis has secured deep funding initial round worth $ 1 million or the equivalent of 14,5 billion Rupiah.
