After Four Years of Operation, Urbanhire Launches Mobile App

Has reached 12 thousand partner companies with 1,5 million job seekers who joined

2020 is Urbanhire's fourth year of operation. As a provider of employee recruitment solutions, Urbanhire claims to have succeeded in helping more than 12 thousand companies in Indonesia. Big names such as BPJS Kesehatan, Pertamina EP Cepu, Pegadaian, Angkasa Pura Supports, MRT Jakarta, Kompas, Tiket, are claimed to be some of Urbanhire's clients. Their latest innovation comes in the form of an application mobile devices.

Urbanhire CEO Benson E. Kawengian explained, in their four-year journey, they have been trusted by millions of job seekers to connect them with the company of their dreams.

"To date, the total number of job seekers who use our platform has reached more than 1,5 million job seekers. And now we have released two applications. The first is the Urbanhire Employer application, this application is only for our clients who have subscribed. The second Urbanhire Jobseeker application, can be accesseddownload on the Google Play Store, the goal is to make it easier and more practical for job seekers to find work," said Benson.

So far Urbanhire has made several innovations and strategic steps along its journey. Such as building collaboration and integration with other startups, to issuing Employee Referral features.

Urbanhire is also noted to have announced Pre-Series A . funding in 2017 led by Convergence Ventures and also Social Capital, 500 Startups, Tortola Capital, Denali Capital, and Intrafood Group.

In Indonesia, technology-based recruitment solution providers have started to emerge. Names like Kalibrr, Recruitand TechinLabs included in it despite having their respective focuses.

Use technology in the recruitment process also seems to continue to grow along with existing innovations. One of the many considerations is the use of AI to optimize processes and shorten time.

Benson admitted, the pandemic had an impact on reducing companies opening job vacancies. However, there are still several companies that are still opening vacancies and are actively opening candidates.
