Startups parenting Tentang Anak reportedly pocketed back seed funding led by SEA Surge Ventures (SURGE). Then, former investors Insignia Ventures as well angel investors Mohammed Alabsi (Ex CTO Bukalapak and Amazon) and Herman Widjaja (CTO Tokopedia and Ex Facebook) participated in this round again.

Meanwhile, Garri has more than a decade of experience in technology, growth, and M&A products. Prior to this, Garri had overseen various business verticals, incl marketplace and logistics.

As for, the application Tentang Anak providing holistic services in the form of personalized child stimulation activities, nutritional menus, growth trackers, free consultations, and parental involvement in child development, especially for children aged 0-5 years. This app features highly curated information from a network of pediatricians, psychologists, child educators, financial planners and ob-gyns.

Expanding partnerships

By the end of 2022, Tentang Anak expanding the service ecosystem by launching Autism Screening. This feature is intended for Indonesian parents to answer their concerns about the limited clinical facilities in Indonesia for autism diagnosis and therapy.

This feature is the result of collaboration with Prof. Dr. dr. Hardiono D. Pusponegoro, Sp.A(K), Child Neurologist, Advisor Tentang Anak & Founder @AnakkuID. He also oversees the Anakku Clinic which focuses on highlighting the growth and development and developmental disorders of children with special needs.
