ToMu Develops Talent Training and Development Marketplace Platform for Companies

In a company, the quality of human resources is one of the most important aspects of business progress. Therefore, many companies are not reluctant to spend for the mission of developing the talents of their workers. However, not all companies can properly manage the need for these talents.

There are tons of platforms that offer self-training, coaching, or development programs on a specific subject, while a company has employees who need training in a more varied field. Platform one-stop learning & development

ToMu was founded by Alfa Bumhira, also known as Co-Founder & CEO ProSpark, a Learning Management System (LMS) for B2B that enables companies to train, certify, transfer knowledge and collaborate. He founded ToMu earlier this year as a marketplace that offers good learning and development services training, coaching, nurturing and well-being with experienced mentors.

Even though the solution marketplace offered more targeting the B2C realm, ToMu chose to focus on B2B, they also offer solutions for companies to have one platform that can manage all activities related to L&D. Targeting startups, the company wants to be a platform one-stop learning & development (L&D) which provides services such as learning marketplace, course delivery, centralized management, to administrative processes, with the aim of improving data quality & making it a useful benchmark.

Alfa also considered that one of the big issues in this industry is that many trainers or mentors spend their time taking care of minor matters rather than actually carrying out the training. ToMu hopes to be a solution to connect mentors with more opportunities. To date, there are more than 300 mentors registered with ToMu who are also affiliated with the platform developer learning management system (LMS), ProSpark.

This platform has successfully connected about 20 companies that need services training, mentoring, coaching, to well-being with mentors who have the capacity in their field.

The solution that ToMu currently offers does not cost you anything. Companies only need to register and enter employee data. After that they can enjoy a personalized L&D program for a specific purpose. From there, the company will get the data real-time which can be converted into new insights for action using the OKR tool. ToMu also offers an ROI feature to track every investment the company has made.

Future plan

For now, ToMu is focused on developing solutions marketplace by completing from the side supply and demand. Then, in the future ToMu has a mission to enter the realm of more serious talent management. "As we build marketplace We also hope that we can help the company in terms of selecting and managing its talents," said Alfa.

ToMu will also soon be integrated with the ProSpark learning management system and the company's HR management system. In addition, it will also develop services to talent placements and assessment tools.

Alfa considers that the L&D concept is still relatively new in Indonesia and the opportunity is still very large. In his calculations, the L&D market in Indonesia could reach $1,5 billion per year. In Indonesia alone, there are more than 2500 startups, most of which do not have an L&D division.
