East Ventures Leads Initial Funding for Singapore-based Web3 Startup “AWST”
AWST builds platform for companies looking to easily launch NFT collections on blockchain
Singapore-based web3 startup AWST today (25/10) announced a $1,7 million (over 26,5 billion Rupiah) seed funding led by East Ventures, with participation from 500 Global and Antler. This momentum at once use AWST to make his presence public.
In an official statement, East Ventures Principal Devina Halim said that her party believes web3 is a paradigm shift and will become a highlight or theme in the next few years. This means that there are many opportunities that can be explored in this sector.

AWST was founded by Arun Sugumaran and Aleksandar Abu Samra in October 2020. AWST offer Web3 to brands by creating a platform for users to launch NFT collections on various blockchain protocols optimized for the needs of each project.
AWST solutions can be integrated into enterprise technology frameworks easily and seamlessly. AWST expertise will assist in incorporating utility into these platforms, creating a solid foundation for clients to take advantage of the evolving Web3 ecosystem. It is stated that AWST is the first web3 startup in Asia in collaboration with Stripe to facilitate NFT transactions, help process payments online for businesses in 46 countries. The collaboration of the two companies is a major step in making NFT transactions commercially viable for businesses.
This joint effort is aimed at positioning NFT for mainstream adoption by including functions and utilities such as memberships, tickets, and extended experiences through technology.
