Plug and Play Indonesia Announces 13 Startups Participating in the Second Batch

Startup accelerator program Indonesian Plug and Play announced the 13 startups that entered batch two. All startups are eligible for early-stage funding (seed funding) about US$ 50 thousand, workshop, 1-on-1 mentorships, co-working space, access to Silicon Valley, to the opportunity to work with Plug and Play corporate partners.

What's different with batch First, the selected startups come from diverse industries, not only from services E-commerce just. This shows that founder startups are now increasingly paying attention to the solutions offered to solve problems facing the industry. Therefore, the startup chosen by Plug and Play this time is more mature in terms of business than the previous batch.

Not only selecting startups in terms of business maturity, Plug and Play also looks at commitment founder startup itself. Founder the chosen one must be fully committed to the startup he is living with by not owning more than one startup.

"On batch This time, because the startup ecosystem has matured, the variety of startups is getting more diverse. Different from batch first, where at that time the maturity of the business was not yetmature now," explained Plug and Play Indonesia President Director Wesley Harjono, Tuesday (9/12).

After being accelerated for three months, startups will be scheduled to present their business before the GK - Plug and Play Expo in front of hundreds of exclusive guests consisting of investors, government, C-Level Executives, and the media in April 2017.

The 13 startups selected in batch two are as follows:

1. Blynk: this startup is from Singapore, providing a platform that helps SMEs, corporations, and government agencies to create applications. This platform allows SMEs to build applications with drag and drop features and without using a programming language.

2. Cheers Global Wallet: provide convenience to developer to integrate e-wallet in self-built applications, so users can be financially connected.

3. Wise Fund: is an online loan service without collateral that offers micro-loans to the public.

4. Datanest: helping companies to process data by machine learning and artificial intelligence so that it can be used as a basis for decision making.

5. Mobile Money: is an independent mobile payment and remittance system that can work on all operating systems, telecom operators and banks. Duit Hape allows users to make cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, installment payments, social security, and so on.

6. You'reto: is a cloud-based service to run restaurants professionally, such as inventory management, accounting, CRM, and so on with easy implementation.

7. Hold Hands: is a platform p2p loans which aims to provide short-term investment to help finance MSMEs.

8. Grigo: is an application that aggregates and manages waste collection and recycling services, this startup was first established in Bali.

9. Indogold: is an online platform that helps users to invest in precious metals safely and flexibly. Starting from gold savings with the smallest weight of 0,001 grams, installment services for members, gold pawning, and so on. Indogold was previously appointed as an exclusive partner with Bukalapak for BukaEmas services.

10. Manpro: is a specialized application in field solutions project management, particularly construction project documentation. Users can access documents or images easily.

11. Check.id: is a solution to improve the quality of services in the health sector to be more responsive, effective, and transparent. Users can write prescriptions, store media records, manage patient data through this platform.

12. Truck: is a marketplace that can be used to find the best prices to meet the needs of trucks and cargo.

13. Weston: providing solutions for renewable energy systems in remote areas in Indonesia. This system can be used by every home to get access to electricity with a pay per use payment system at an affordable price.
