Pluang Starts Release of Mutual Fund Investment Products

Application investment opportunity started releasing mutual fund investment products. For its customers, this is certainly good news because it makes it easier for them to diversify their assets.

For now, new mutual fund services are being rolled out to a number of users in stages. Pluang said the app update will be fully released within this week.

Mutual fund transactions are facilitated by Pluang Grow (PT Sarana Santosa Sejati) which is currently registered with OJK and KSEI. Pluang Grow itself is also confirmed as a business unit under Pluang, focused as a platform fintech which connects Asset Management companies with retail investors in Indonesia.

In the initial stage, only two products were provided by Pluang Mutual Funds, namely the Rupiah Fund UOBAM and the National Development Fund UOBAM.

Previously, at the end of 2020, Pluang just added a crypto asset investment product. Realized with Zipmex as a strategic partner. Previously Pluang was present as a gold investment application, then expanded to the S&P 500.

In March 2021, Pluang also just pocketed B pre-series funding worth $20 million. The funding consortium is led by Openspace Ventures supported by investors who have been involved in previous rounds, including Go-Ventures.

It is said that the fresh funds will indeed be focused on developing new financial products and expanding business partnerships.

In addition to the application itself, startups initiated by Claudia Colonas and Richard Chua it has also been integrated with several other consumer applications, incl Gojek (GoInvestment), Bukalapak (BukaEmas), and Dana (eMAS Fund).
