Member.id Announces 15,4 Billion Rupiah Series A Funding

Platform developer loyaltyMember.id announced that it has secured series A funding of $1,1 million or equivalent to 15,4 billion Rupiah. This investment round was led by East Ventures and Traveloka. Fresh funds will be focused on strengthening content capabilities on the platform, in line with their mission to create "creator economy".

One that has been realized, they launched TS Media as a new content production division in the company. This unit also allows owners brand collaborate with a rapidly growing creator ecosystem in Indonesia through the support of technology and expertise possessed by Member.id.

Later Member.id will focus on providing strategy consulting, data analysis, and technology solutions to encourage retention and increase in business customers. Meanwhile, TS Media will focus on content creation to increase awareness and activation to drive customer acquisition.

Along with the funding, the launch of "Travel Secret" was announced, a travel content platform pioneered by actress Luna Maya and Marianne Rumantir (Co-Founder & CEO of Member.id). Luna also joined the company as Managing Partner.

Presence Traveloka Investors are also believed to be able to provide added value to businesses, especially to connect Member.id with the network merchant.

By creating content geared towards domestic tourism [via Travel Secret], we can be a significant force in driving additional demand for Traveloka," said Co. -Founder & CSO Member.id Robert Tedja.

Apart from Member.id, Traveloka has also invested in three other startups, including KiotViet, PouchNATIONand PasarPolis.
