Throughout 2022 there were 13 acquisitions/mergers involving Indonesian fintech startups to expand their business models
financial technology (fintech) is still the most popular technology sector in terms of adoption and development in Indonesia. From year to year the innovation continues, democratizing various aspects of the financial business model.
Menurut notes DailySocialid, for the last 5 years continuously sector fintech is ranked first as the business vertical that investors are most interested in.
On the other hand, the financial sector is known for its complexity considering that this industry is strictly regulated by the authorities. Each player must meet high compliance standards in order to operate. With the existing business development, fintech is still an interesting discussion for technology industry players.
For this reason, DS/Innovate as the research unit of DailySocial.id initiated the "Fintech Report 2022-H12023".
