GoKampus Offers Various Learning Support Services for Students

Industry edutech or educational technology in Indonesia began the arrival of various forms of services. One of the breakthroughs is GoKampus. The service developed by Nathanael Santoso and Jeganathan Sethu tries to develop an educational ecosystem that makes it easier for students to live their studies.

Nathanael who holds the role of CEO to DailySocial explained that they are firmly committed to providing services that can make student life more effective, especially for activities outside of learning.

Since its launch in December 2018, GoKampus has been able to be used to register for lectures online online, looking for scholarships, applying for college funding, managing event campus, as well as a system that connects with companies for internship purposes.

To date GoCampus claims to have collaborated with 150 universities, 10 of which are universities from abroad. In terms of users or students, a total of 145 thousand registered users.

"We work closely with universities, students, and various related parties such as foundations, corporations, fintech, to individuals to form an ecosystem EdTechsustainable and mutual. By connecting various players in one platform that we manage to provide lecture solutions," explained Nathanael.

At this stage, GoKampus is supported by several investors, including Soveregin's Capital, EverHaus, Azure Ventures, and several companies. angel investors.

Cooperation strengthens services

GoKampus' ambition to become a complete application is not only limited to features but also collaboration. On features college funding for example, they have collaborated with several players in the education fund loan service sector such as KoinWorks, DanaCita, and Pintek. They are currently actively exploring cooperation with other related parties, such as banks. In terms of features, instant registration is one of the advantages.

"Latest features launch Since February 2020, we are providing an Instant Approval program for students to get instant access to selected top campuses. So through this program, students only need to upload their report cards and if they meet the minimum criteria students can get a university acceptance letter instantly (maximum 1 hour)," Nathanael continued.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has limited the mobility of many people seems to have been used properly by GoKampus to convince users that its service can be trusted to register for college.

"We started holding virtual counseling for students to get services about their studies or careers. We also work together to present Campus Webinars with various parties to educate students in the midst of situations study from home this. With GoKampus, campus life can be easier, more productive, and fun," Nathanael added.

For the business model, Nathanael explained that they took fee for B2B service which they run. This year they are targeting to work with 300 to 400 campuses with 300 thousand registered users.
