The Development of Four Product Features Becomes Astra Digital's Focus This Year

No new products will be released yet

AstraDigital, a subsidiary of Astra International specializing in technology-based services, inaugurated its presence with introduce four products that have been released since last year. The four products are Seva.id, CariParkir, Sejal, and Movic.

"Digitalization has spread to all levels of society so that they are used to everything that has to be digital. Astra has a broad consumer base and needs a digital touch to enhance their experience. It is our duty to synergize with Astra's existing business lines," said the President. Director of Astra Digital Djap Tet Fa, yesterday (25/4).

Director of Astra Digital Kemas Henry Kurniawan added, after the inauguration of the company's presence, his party focused on developing the features of the four existing products to make them richer. Innovation, according to him, must continue to be encouraged when deciding to play in the digital realm.

The company works like a startup in general, still agile with the routine release of new features every two weeks. Then do review periodically to see how consumers respond, and so on.

Nevertheless, the company continues to ensure that all of the features developed are in line with other Astra business lines or at least become added values ​​that lead to increased productivity in Astra's business lines.

Kemas gave an example, Seva.id has a product that is more or less similar to Auto2000, both providing credit simulations, buying and selling vehicles, booking services and spare parts. Seva.id becomes a value added provider for Auto2000 because they will be the final party who is ready to serve in the event of a vehicle purchase.

The company believes that when buying a vehicle it doesn't have to be 100% digital, it still needs a human touch for a better experience. Therefore, it is Auto2000 who will handle it because it is more skilled in its field.

"The concept is that we are a startup with corporate style, but still agile. Routinely release new features every two weeks, test it with consumers, do a review, and do it continuously. Even if there is a service from us that is the same [as Astra's subsidiary], from Astra Digital it will be Improve in terms of productivity," explained Kemas.

He made sure no new products will be released this year. It is very likely that Astra Digital will work on products outside of automotive. One of them is Seva.id, which now provides selling and renting properties from the Astra International line, such as Anandamaya Residence, Arumaya, Asya, and Menara Astra.

"For property services at Seva.id, we will add features from Astra Financial Services."

Although not specifically mentioning, Kemas targets that from all additional features to be released there will be at least a two-fold growth for the whole. The company also has not decided to start monetizing the business in this first year.

Achievement of four products

Kemas continued, Seva.id, Sejalan, and CariParkir had been present since March 2018. Meanwhile, Movic was only present in September 2018. Seva.id is claimed to have been visited 1 million times on average per month. From that number, there is leads more than 3 thousand per month.

Meanwhile, CariParkir has collaborated with 200 parking partners for two-wheelers spread across Greater Jakarta and Surabaya, around the station, pintu toll roads, terminals, malls, and office buildings. There are also 12 valet parking partner locations for four wheels, including Senayan City, Kuningan City, The Breeze, and Tangerang City Mall.

CariParkir not only makes it easier for people who want to find a parking space quickly, but is also equipped with the CariServis feature. This feature is for users who want to service the vehicle while it is parked. The CariParkir application itself has been downloaded more than 287 thousand times.

While in line is an application ride sharing to meet drivers with passengers who have one-way travel routes. Now in line with providing travel aggregator features with travel companies.

There are a total of 40 routes that consumers can choose from from Greater Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. It is claimed that the Parallel application has been downloaded up to 412 thousand times this month. Daily trips that occur in the line are said to be 200 times.

Final, Movic is a vehicle rental service that allows vehicle owners to rent their cars easily. There are 2.200 thousand vehicles that can be used by consumers spread across 36 cities. The Movic app has been downloaded more than 495 times.
