Astra Group Introduces Three New Digital Services, All Related to Transportation

They are Seva.id, CariParkir, and Sejal

More and more people are connected to the internet and the market is getting savvy making the Astra Group more interested in the digital industry. They launched three new services, Seva.id, CariParkir and Sejal. The third common thread is the linkage with the transportation sector.

Seva.id is a digital platform that allows users to buy new cars, used cars, or buy properties, such as apartments and real estate market.

Seva.id allows users to make vehicle orders, trade-ins, make requests Test Drive for cars that you want to buy, calculating monthly installments with a credit calculator, to scheduling vehicle services.

The next digital service launched by Astra is SearchParking. This service is available on the Android platform and is designed to make it easier for users to find the nearest parking location that suits their needs. There are two main features presented. First, provide information such as price, time, address, and facilities at the parking location.

The next feature is the ability to help perform booking parking lot at partner. CariParker is said to be able to be used by car and motorcycle riders.

The third service launched by Astra is in line. In line is a platform for hitchhiking, allowing a user (called a Parallel Captain) to share an empty seat in their vehicle with another user (called a Parallel Friend). The Parallel app is already available for iOS and Android platforms.

Chief of Astra Digital Djap Tet Fa said that the steps they took were aimed at meeting the needs of the Indonesian people, who are dominated by the millennial generation.

"By strengthening platform digital, Astra Digital is here to provide solutions that are more innovative, relevant, and customer oriented," light Tet Fa.

The three Astra services do not carry a completely new concept, but their execution in the field will determine whether these services can survive and be sustainable.

This year the Astra Group has been involved in several digital innovations in Indonesia, such as launching chatbot for insurance services and set up services AWDA with WeLabs. Astra also last February gave funding 2 trillion Rupiah for Go-Jek.
