Kata.ai Launches Several New Features, Eases Developers to Create AI-Based Services

Consists of NLP services, integrated dashboards, to a catalog containing various development results

Kata.ai emphasized its position as an integrated artificial intelligence platform at the INTERACT 2019 event. This affirmation was accompanied by the launch of a number of new features.

A total of ten features based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) were introduced. Among them there are Words Flow (corporate quality virtual assistant development platform), NL word (Natural Language model development platform and processing insight from conversation data), CMS word (dashboard development platform for managing and organizing content chatbot).

Besides that, there are also Word Generator (a platform for creating and training dataset natural languages), Boost Kata (the platform manages marketing campaigns in chatbot), Voice Words (voice based virtual assistant platform), Omnichat word (dashboard for managing customer service processes), Assist word (a feature to help customer service agents respond faster), Words WhatsApp Dashboard (a dashboard for managing and automating conversations within WhatsApp), and Catalog (feature to search and take advantage of development results developer in Platform Words).

"Some of them have [deployed]. That is said Flow, said NL, next week there will be Omnichat, Kata Voice next year," said Kata.ai Co-Founder & CEO Irzan Raditya.

A number of these features are made to make it easier for users engineer and developer build their own products. In his remarks at INTERACT, Irzan said his party wanted to play more of a role as a enablers to drive new AI-based solutions in Indonesia.

"If the vision for the future we want to be integrated all in one AI platform that addresses problems in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. But our focus here is still developing AI conversations the most powerful in Indonesia," said Irzan.

One of the features that Irzan exhibited to reporters was Kata Voice. Simply put, this Voice Word is an AI Bot that can answer user questions via telephone. This feature is projected to reduce the service load call center a company.

There are four industrial sectors that Kata.ai thinks will be helped by their features. The four are social commerce, financial services, health services, and education.

Some of the new features of Kata.ai can be accessed for free on a limited basis. Some others use a subscription system.

In addition to the introduction of new features, Kata.ai also announced the results of the competition hackathon first named their KataHack. Kata.ai plans to make this KataHack a regular agenda every year to help developer create AI-based solutions.

"In the future, their application can be accessed in the catalog. It is like the App Store or Play Store so that the application can be used or tried by all Indonesian people. Whether there will be collaboration or other things we have not determined but we want to develop the ecosystem developer in Indonesia," said Irzan.
