You may have heard of the Echelon TOP100, a startup competition that was part of the conference Echelon Asia Summit 2019, which will be held by e27 on 23-24 May 2019 at the Singapore Expo, Singapore.

TOP100 aims to find, showcase, and accelerate the best seeds in the Southeast Asian startup community. The TOP100 judging process involves juri from various well-known venture capital companies such as 500 Startups, SparkLabs, Cocoon Capital, Cradle Fund, and Monk's Hill Ventures.

The judging process will be held behind closed doors in six cities across Southeast Asia, which will conclude with a networking event Echelon Roadshow. Indonesia itself will get its turn in 4 April 2019. Startups that successfully pass this stage are entitled to represent their home countries in Singapore in May.

Last year, one of the startups that represented Indonesia at the 2018 Echelon Asia Summit was MyClinicalPro, a healthcare startup led by co-founder William Suryawan.

According to William, the most interesting thing about following the TOP100 is that we never know who is listening to our presentation. They could be our next potential investors, partners, or customers.
