Adopt "Sharing Economy", Effort Wahyoo Create a Wider Impact

Learn from Co-Founder & COO Wahyoo Daniel Cahyadi in the #TuesdayStartup session

It is undeniable that the potential that can be worked on for the digitization of MSMEs in Indonesia is huge. There are many aspects that can be improved so that the operations of business people in this sector can be more efficient and simultaneously grow exponentially through the use of digital technology. But behind it all, there are challenges that are no less challenging.

Wahyoo sebagai One of the startups playing in this field also realized that not only focusing on numbers, entrepreneurs should also focus on creating an impact. It is the process of creating that impact that is now being highlighted by Wahyoo.

In discussing this topic in greater depth, #TuesdayStartup in the first week of November invites Co-Founder & COO Wahyoo Daniel Cahyadi as resource person.

Keep looking product-market fit

Like any business in general, you must have product-market fit, Wahyoo constantly find out what are the issues in the field. The first solution presented is to provide raw material supplies for restaurant partners. With the convenience of shopping, entrepreneurs do not need to leave their shops to go out shopping and can still serve consumers.

Over time, according to Daniel, after further research, it turns out that for most small entrepreneurs, shopping at the market is something fun. The experience is richer because they can directly choose the product they want to buy.

“In the past, we were quite sure that this solution would reduce their burden. So the point is that the product looks good, but no fit di market, must be searched again with in-depth research. Elimination of bias and must be absolutely precise market multiplicationwhat is it?” said Daniel.

The advantages offered by this solution are competitive prices and digital recording. This last point is important because the main cause of MSME business failure is leakage when shopping for raw materials. For example, employees are delegated to spend, but because the recording is in handwriting, the potential for leakage is unavoidable.

“We offer digitization so that everything is transparent, there is no chance of leakage. In addition, it also offers convenience, entrepreneurs can focus on serving consumers, developing products, all waste activity bestowed upon us. But not all business people can appreciate those conveniences, so it depends on the MSMEs themselves.”

Wahyoo Kitchen Partners

The company also realizes, in the MSME segment, it creates social impact also important, apart from focusing on how to move them to get used to the digital platform. Supported by the trend of online food delivery online, Wahyoo finally made the latest solution named Wahyoo Kitchen Partners.

You could say this is virtual cloudkitchen verses Wahyoo which utilizes the kitchen in an underutilized restaurant to help distribute its exclusive food products Wahyoo. Through the business unit of the Make Tajir Group, Wahyoo provides private label products, such as Your Majesty's Chicken, Fried Duck Makes Tasty, and Meatballs Makes Tajir.

What distinguishes it from cloud kitchen operator and other private labels are Wahyoo partnering with culinary SMEs for product supply and the potential for further distribution to the kitchen network Wahyoo.

“We collaborate with the MSME F&B industry, there is a satay wrap that we absorb the product and sell to our network. Previously they were only able to produce 100 pack, now it can be 1000 pack. We want to empower them.”

According to Daniel, by adopting sharing economy as virtual cloudkitchen This has a greater impact on MSMEs. Even in terms of business prospects, it is much faster to make profits than other business segments. As of now, the company has partnered with restaurant kitchen owners in hundreds of locations. For the Duck Goreng Make Tajir brand, it is claimed to be available in 120 locations, Ayam Paduka in more than 40 locations.

“Our partners are now able to build houses, we want to have more good stories in the future. Hopefully we can give impact even bigger outside Jabodetabek,” he concluded.
