Journal.id SaaS Startup Has Embraced More Than 80 Users

Introduce new services for tax calculation and cash flow management

As more and more SMEs are optimizing business processes with a digital approach, technology productivity services are increasingly in demand in the Indonesian market. There is no exception for technology products made by local startups, one of which is Jurnal.id. In a media meeting in Yogyakarta, COO Journal.id Anthony Kosasih said that the current SaaS service has more than 80 thousand users, with a total registered business exceeding 60 thousand units from various regions in Indonesia.

Journal.id presents a variety of digital accounting products designed to simplify business administration and operational processes. With this application, businesses (especially SMEs) can easily record financing, stock goods, create reports, and issue invoices. Increasing user interest also makes Jurnal.id continue to innovate products. The two newest ones are the "Journal Tax Center" and "Budgeting" services.

The Tax Center Journal was released to simplify the tax calculation and preparation process that is integrated with the Journal. So that SMEs who have recorded cash flow and employee expenses can immediately take advantage of these services to automate tax calculations. While the Budgeting feature was released as financial controls for entrepreneurs, to manage the cash flow that occurs in the business.

"With the change in the MSME tax regulation to 0,5%, the focus is on helping entrepreneurs fulfill their tax obligations with very easy solutions," said Anthony.

For 2018, Anthony said that Jurnal.id would strengthen the expansion process to all major cities in Indonesia. One approach is to hold free business training and seminars, introduce SMEs to technology-based business systems.

Previously, Jurnal.id also released features Pay Journal in collaboration with Xendit, a payment portal that businesses can use for transactions through virtual accounts. This feature allows SMEs to do two things at once, withdraw funds from consumers through bank transfer and credit card mechanisms, and help SMEs to process payments on a scheduled basis.
