Quipper and KoinWorks Offer Education Financing of Up to IDR 2 Billion

Aiming to accommodate more students in Indonesia who want to continue their education to a higher level, Quipper, an educational technology company, has entered into a strategic partnership with investment service providers and borrowed money from KoinWorks. This collaboration provides opportunities for high school students and college students to get consultations and financing schemes for further education from KoinWorks.

KoinWorks via service CoinSmart provide financing to users who want to get further education, training classes to short courses by utilizing loans with schemes peer-to-peer lending (P2P). By partnering with Quipper, which has been focused on being an edtech platform in Indonesia, KoinWorks is targeting more borrowers who joined KoinWorks.

"Since its establishment until now, KoinWorks already has 100 thousand Actioncalendar or what we usually call investors and 3 thousand borrowers. Through this partnership, we offer tuition loans of up to IDR 2 billion," said KoinWorks CMO Jonathan Bryan.

To ensure the financing runs smoothly without any fraud, KoinWorks implements a process assessment to the candidate borrowers and selected campuses, utilizing technology machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).

KoinWorks also builds relationships and provides education to universities, private and public educational institutions, regarding its education financing schemes.

"Before establishing a strategic partnership with Quipper, KoinWorks also had good relations with campuses and other educational institutions. borrowers to determine the ideal campus or educational institution for them," said Jonathan.

To ensure that these funds are used properly, share borrowers who pass the verification and are entitled to a loan, the funds will be transferred directly to the chosen campus or educational institution. Thus the funds reach the right party without any fraud.

"In addition, we also provide an easy registration process, which is all done online for candidates borrowers with process approval about 2-3 days," said Jonathan.

Recommended Quipper universities and educational institutions

Currently service Quipper has been used by more than 5 million students with 350 thousand teachers throughout Indonesia. Quipper has also visited more than 3 schools in 33 provinces and was recommended by provincial, district and national offices.

Through this partnership, Quipper will provide recommendations to candidates borrowers KoinWorks, which universities can apply for tuition fees.
