Printerous Gets Pre-Series A Funding Worth 18 Billion Rupiah

Maximize the potential of the printing business in Indonesia, which will reach Rp 121 trillion in 2017

Online printing service Printerous today announced the acquisition of pre-series A funding of Rp 18 billion. The funding was led by Golden Gate Ventures and followed by Sovereign's Capital and Gunung Sewu Kencana. This funding will be optimized for user acquisition and retention to maximize the potential of the printing business in Indonesia, which is estimated to reach Rp 121 trillion in 2017.

"We are very grateful for the trust and support from investors. Not only investments, we are also enriched with advisors, values, and an extensive business network," said Printerous Co-founder and CEO Kevin Osmond.

Previously for an undisclosed amount, Printerous had received funding from RMKB Ventures, KapanLagi Network CEO Steve Christian and members of the Tahir family. The funding also started Printerous' debut with a B2B (Business-to-Business) business model to become a printing service provider for corporations in Indonesia.

"One of our main advantages from the past has been the network we have in Indonesia, with strategic partners, corporations and investors. We will not only use this network to help Printerous develop their extensive sales pipeline and increase their turnover, but we also will involve our partners to financially support Printerous until it reaches the stage of an independent and sustainable business," said Justin Hall, Principal at Golden Gate Ventures.
