PouchNATION Launches Body Temperature Detection Bracelet, Starts Selling Products and Services in Indonesia

Can be used for personal or collective purposes with various scenarios

PouchNATION, a technology platform developer for event management, recently launched a new product called PouchPASS. Namely a bracelet equipped with a body temperature monitoring system. Utilise bluetooth connected to the user's smartphone, the device will record the temperature and transmit data to the dashboard continuously.

It can be used personally or collectively. So that it can be scripted to make it easier for the event committee to track and detect early to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

PouchPASS Actually, it is not only marketed for organizing events, but also for use at home, at shopping places, airports, and various other needs. Usually when somewhere in a state "new normal"Every time people enter, their body temperature must be measured by the officer manually. By wearing this bracelet, the process is no longer necessary. Officers simply monitor through the dashboard in the application or website.

As previously noted, one of PouchNATION's products is an NFC-based bracelet as an entry ticket to an exhibition. In contrast to traditional tickets that use paper or the like, the technology approach is embedded to produce comprehensive data about participant participation in the event -- including recording the entry and exit of participants into the event.

To DailySocial, PouchNATION CEO Ilya Kravtsov said that all variants of their products and services can now be used in Indonesia. The company also has a representative office based in Indonesia. The expansion to Indonesia PouchNATION is supported by a number of local companies, including Traveloka and TIX ID which participated in last year's series B funding round.

Furthermore, Kravtsov said, they have been on the air for about 5 years, managing hundreds of shows every year in Southeast Asia. When Covid-19 came, it became one of the major events that was very new and visible to their business. So there is no choice but to adapt to the conditions. Seeing the existing situation, PouchPASS innovation was created from the internal team, which was carried out in a relatively short time.

As part of privacy protection, users can also choose to enable location services on their phone to grant tracking permissions. When connecting the PouchPASS bracelet device the user will be asked to sync to his cellphone.

The PouchPASS bracelet or also known as PouchBAND is available in three sizes small (11-16cm), medium (15-20cm), and large (18-23cm). They also cater to needs rebranding (e.g. logo installation) for collective orders. The bracelet is also claimed to be dust and water resistant, so event organizers can reuse and wash it. The PouchBAND is equipped with a CR2032 lithium coin battery, which can be replaced when it runs out of power.

Event organizer innovation

Several startups continue to seek innovation to welcome the new normal, including for needs such as organizing events and activities in public spaces. Not long ago, a local event management startup LOCKET also does the same thing. They are rolling out an app update that allows the organizers to do a number of things. First for the practical registration system and setting the number of participants; mass capacity control management system; to mass capacity trackers.
