Bukalapak Launches Integrated Logistics Service "BukaPiriman"

Only available on the mobile app, in collaboration with six logistics partners

Logistics issues are still an obstacle for many SMEs to reach the online market. Logistics itself consists of many aspects, from storage, packaging, to shipping. Seeing these conditions, Bukalapak launched an integrated logistics service OpenDelivery that can be used by SMEs easily and cheaply.

To DailySocial Bukalapak's Corporate Communication Manager Evi Andarinim said, Bukalapak As one of the largest technology companies in Indonesia, it continues to strive to empower SMEs in Indonesia as a driver of the economy.

"With the BukaPiriman feature, Bukalapak can help pelapak who are MSME actors to manage the delivery of goods ordered by customers."

Cooperating with third party logistics

To ensure the delivery process runs smoothly, Bukalapak partners with six logistics companies. Among them are J&T Express, Pos Indonesia, Ninja Express, GrabExpress, and Go-Send. Pelapak later do not need to deposit (Upload) goods to Bukalapak for delivery. They can also monitor all shipments of goods through the Bukalapak application.

This service is available exclusively for Bukalapak partners and is only available on the iOS and Android apps. The payment process can also be done easily, which is enough to pay shipping costs to Bukalapak and no need to pay shipping costs to the courier or driver.

"With the BukaPiriman feature, Bukalapak hopes that more SME players will join to grow with Bukalapak to build Indonesia," concluded Evi.
