The presence of L'Académie was welcomed by the Minister of Communication and Information, Rudiantara, who also witnessed the signing ceremony.

"One of the pillars of the digital economy is talent to fill the digital economy ecosystem. I appreciate efforts to provide support for the provision of human resources in the digital economy," explained Rudiantara.

Meanwhile, the Founder and Director of OnlinePajak Charles Guinot stated that L'Académie was established as a form of support OnlineTax in order to advance the digital economy ecosystem in Indonesia.

The same thing was expressed by OnlinePajak Commissioner Gita Wirjawan. He strongly supports the formation of L'Académie as a form of responsibility and contribution of the business world in increasing the resilience and economic development of Indonesia in the future.

"I hope that Indonesia will be known as one of the suppliers of excellent programmers, which are very much needed in the current digital industry era, as well as a conducive investment destination for the world," explained Gita.

Co-Founder of L'Académie Guillaume Catala said, education and technology are two things that play an important role for the progress of a country and Indonesia is rich in superior seeds in the world of information technology. The presence of L'Académie aims to grow the potential of the digital ecosystem as a whole in Indonesia.

L'Académie will adopt the learning model of 42, a French IT school that has been successful in several countries, such as the United States, South America, Ukraine, to Romania by implementing French excellence in the quality of education.

"There are no special requirements or diploma restrictions. Only an entrance test needs to be taken to join L'Académie. The teaching methods and facilities will be the same as those at 42," explained 42 representative Oliver Ducourant.

L'Académie will carry the method teacher-free, peer to peer learning concept and project based learning which has been implemented in 42. The platform is digital, so participants only need to open a laptop and access the learning platform. Starting in September 2019, 150 people will participate in the learning process and will get internships and work in selected companies.
