BCA Offers New Payment Solution for E-Commerce Services, "OneKlik"

BCA presents an online payment solution for e-commerce sites OneClick, take advantage of the BCA debit card as a source of funds in one click. OneKlik allows customers to make digital payments without the hassle of manual transfers or confirmations. Payment status is instantly confirmed in real time. For the initial stage, BCA collaborated with Blibli as the first partner to use this solution.

"We just want to make it easy, so that [customers] are not complicated, but still safe. Currently only Blibli, but of course we will go to other [e-commerce services]," explained Director of BCA Santoso Liem to DailySocial, Monday (5/2).

To use OneKlik, explained Santoso, customers must register an e-banking mobile number at a BCA ATM and verify the mobile number in the partner's e-commerce application. After successful registration, OneKlik can be directly used to pay for shopping.

Compared to Klikpay which requires OTP verification, OneKlik does not have another layer to confirm payments. One click and funds move. Customers can choose a daily transaction limit in order to limit the misuse of irresponsible parties.

In ensuring transaction security, e-commerce services that implement OneKlik do not store BCA customer debit card data. They only store tokens that have been encrypted and can only be converted by the BCA system.

According to Santoso, this service does not replace existing variations of BCA products for digital payments, such as KlikPay, KlikBCA, or the Sakuku e-money service.

"We have no plans to shift other products. Let the customers choose."

Digital payment solutions are increasingly becoming the attention of banks. Previously, BNI too launch the app Yep, for shopping payments by utilizing three sources of funds that can be used by customers, namely credit cards, debit cards, and UniqueQu electronic money. For the payment method, Yap uses QR code scanning.
