Another Service for Displaying Creative Works: Kreavi.com

Creative work is one thing that can stand out in the local realm, especially with the development of facilities online, the more creative work we can see and the more creative people publish their work on web services.

Previously, services from abroad were used as a 'home' for these works, now local services also provide almost the same facilities. Past we saya ever wrote KayaKarya or or there are also services like CreativeTrees, now there is a new service called Kreavi.com.

I met founder and the CEO of this service, Benny Fajarai at the event Jakarta Startups Club some time ago, at that time he said his service was in the final preparation stage to be introduced to the public, finally last Saturday I was informed that this service has entered live-beta and can be accessed by the user.

Like similar sites that provide a means for users to place a portfolio of works, Kreavi.com also provides several facilities, such as a gallery of visual creations and there are also community facilities for users to interact.

There are many categories for creators to choose from to place their work, ranging from Digital Art, Graphic & Interface Design, Traditional Fine Art, Photography, Film & Videography, Animation, Architectural Design and Cartoon & Comics. Each of these categories has sub categories that make it easier for visitors to see the work more specifically.

Users can register and then upload their work, create albums, fill in information about the work including categories and descriptions, and add watermark. When trying the facilities on this site, there are two options for uploading facilities, for fillet in the form of images and videos.

Kreavi.com also provides points and badges that can be obtained by the user under certain conditions. For example, points will be earned according to the number of visual creations and like per uploaded creation, badges and privileges can be obtained according to certain points. Another feature available is the follow, messages and comments in other galleries and notifications. One of the features that I find interesting is the interest and recommendations, with this feature users can choose their respective interests and interests, later the Kreavi system will provide recommendations from the works on Kreavi according to the interests that have been previously set by the user. Recommendations will appear when we have login, is at the bottom of the start page.

With the growth of the internet that has opened up opportunities for creators from Indonesia to showcase their work and there are more and more local cool works that deserve to be appreciated, the opportunity for services like Kreavi.com is wide open. But of course competition is not only present from other local sites but also global sites. It is not only a matter of community that must be grown, built and maintained, but also value offered must be different or more than similar services.

It will be interesting to see further developments, especially more interesting when there are enough members, becoming a directory and a place to display works is indeed one of the goals of a service like this but how to keep people uploading works, and how users can get benefits requires strategy separately, for example, how to connect para freelancer who join this service with potential clients, or maybe create facilities marketplace for those who need it, because there may be users who need it but on the other hand there are also those who just want to upload their work without wanting to get clients. So there are unique facilities for each user.

You can visit Kreavi.com to see the various facilities available, for those of you who want to read about TOS, policies privacy and copyright can see it in the link this.
