MDI Ventures Leads IDR 57 Billion Series C Funding for “E-commerce Enabler” Singapore Anchanto

Its presence in Indonesia will be collaborated with DELON, which is managed by Telkom and POS

MDI Ventures leads funding Series C for Anchanto. The investment made for the Singapore-based company amounted to $4 million (or the equivalent of 57.5 billion Rupiah). Anchanto received series B funding from Transcosmos Inc Japan and Luxasia Group in May 2017. Anchanto's SaaS platform connects users, whether corporate or SME, to more than 70 online sales channels.

Anchanto is a SaaS developer for technology E-commerce. Its products include logistics management services, warehousing, catalogs to multi-channel sales systems to help brands, retailers, sellers, and distributors improve their capabilities. E-commerce. Apart from Singapore, Anchanto currently has representative offices in several countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, India and Australia.

Anchanto was founded by Vaibhav Dabhade in June 2011 with a vision to improve customer experience E-commerce through software solutions. With the Series C funding obtained, it hopes to optimize investment to expand market reach and strengthen its position in the Southeast Asian regional market.

"Collaboration with Telkom Indonesia and MDI investment is the basis of Anchanto's strategy in Indonesia. Through this collaboration, we aim to bring thousands of SMEs and companies in Indonesia to join the potential E-commerce," said Anchanto's Founder and CEO Vaibhav Dabhade.

Vaibhav also touched on the matter DELON (Online Logistics Depot), service fulfillment logistics carried out by Telkom and POS Indonesia, which runs on the Anchanto eWMS platform. The existence of Anchanto is expected to be a complement to digital solutions for sales channels, so that it can empower entrepreneurs to increase business scale in the market E-commerce largest in Southeast Asia.

"Telkom Group will use Anchanto's technology to provide integrated O2O solutions and e-logistics capabilities, including cross-border shipping capabilities, multi-location warehousing, enabling the company to enable it to reach global markets, through SelluSeller and eWMS," said the Managing Director of Metra Logistics (Telkom Indonesia Logistics Division) Natal Iman Ginting.

SelluSeller is one of Anchanto's signature products that sellers and brands access to provide inventory, ordering and catalog management software solutions. This product complements other solutions for B2B and B2C, namely the eCommerce SaaS Warehouse Management System (eWMS) which is integrated with the Management System (IMS) and Order Management System (OMS).

MDI Ventures CEO and Investment Director Nicko Widjaja said this investment will complete the solution end-to-end for business E-commerce currently in their portfolio, including to empower the national e-commerce ecosystem. MDI was previously involved in funding in e-commerce enablers others, namely aCommerce and Package ID.

"This investment complements our efforts in the E-commerce, addressing the unique Indonesian logistics market segment with a different approach.
