LingoTalk Language Learning Platform Completes Initial Funding

LingoTalk will focus on developing platforms and learning materials for children through LingoJunior

After pocketing funding pre seed last August 2021 led by Kistech Pte. Ltd, platform EdTech foreign language learning LingoTalk has now completed seed funding from a number of Singapore-based companies. Among them are Iterative Capital and Eduspaze. This funding was also followed by several other investors from Asia Pacific who were not identified.

Regarding the nominal, the company was also reluctant to mention the amount of funding it received. Through this fresh fund, LingoTalk wants to increase service products and reach schools in all provinces of Java and Sumatra.

"It is a great honor to have the support of those who believe in our mission to provide better access to foreign language learning in Indonesia," said LingoTalk Co-founder & CEO Andre Benito.

Launched in June 2021, LingoTalk is a foreign language learning platform for all ages. Now LingoTalk claims to have transformed into a platform EdTech which targets users from among children. One of the product lines that they are currently developing is the LingoJunior product.

“LingoTalk has identified important areas in the Indonesian education system, where they can help improve and influence the learning and lives of many people through their platform. We are excited to be working with and supporting their growth,” said Eduspaze Managing Partner Alex Ng.

Language learning services do have their own charm in the market. Platforms that offer similar services to current LingoTalk include Lingo Ace and Competent.
