Proptech Startup Kozystay Receives Initial Funding from Cercano Management

Operating since 2021, Kozystay is now spread across 30 locations with 121 apartments and 3 thousand consumers served

Startups proptech Kozystay received initial funding from Cercano Management at an undisclosed amount. Cercano is a private investor based in Washington, United States that provides investment advice and other services to UHNWI (ultra-high-net-worth-individual) and their family foundation.

This news was confirmed directly by the Co-founder and CEO Kozystay Dane Putranto when contacted DailySocial.id. “Yes, that's right, Cercano [investor seed round]," he said. Dane didn't mention anything further, this fresh funding will be used for whatever.

For the record, Kozystay is a startup proptech local that provides technology-based property management services. Its mission is to redefine the hospitality industry. The company provides short-term to long-term vacation home rentals, primarily mid- to high-end properties.

Services end-to-end provided to property owners is premium access amenities, linens, high-speed Wi-Fi and more that can be customized for each guest.

According to its website, since operating in 2021 Kozystay has spread across 30 locations with 121 apartments and 3 thousand consumers served. The locations are spread across Bandung, Tangerang and parts of Jakarta (Central, West and North). The company markets the properties they manage on various OTA sites, starting from Agoda, Booking.com, Airbnb, Tiket.com, Traveloka, as well as on the official Kozystay website.

Not only that, since the end of last year the company has also been selected to market its properties at Homes & Villas by Marriott International (HVMI). HVMI is an OTA site owned by the Marriott hotel chain that focuses on the premium short-term home rental market. They work closely with selected professional home management companies to ensure that each home listed can be serviced to the standards expected by the global hotel chain.

Kozystay will also take advantage of this opportunity to add to its portfolio throughout Indonesia by utilizing its partnership with Marriott International. In the latest data submitted, since operating in 2019, HMVI has owned more than 65.000 properties in more than 700 locations such as the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, the Caribbean and Latin America.

In Indonesia, there are a number of startup players entering the same vertical with various target users. Among them Travelio, Flokq, Rukita, Alterstay, and Bukit Vista.
