Travelio Secures Series C Funding

This round was led by a Korean finance group with the support of DAOL Ventures, Orzon Ventures, Appworks, and Pavilion Capital

Platform proptechTravelio has secured series C funding led by a Korean finance group. Also involved in the funding round were DAOL Ventures (formerly KTB), Orzon Ventures (backed by PTTOR Konglomerat Thailand and 500 Global), and Appworks from Taiwan.

Pavilion Capital which is an investor Travelio previously, participated in this funding round. It is not stated further how much the value of the investment they get. These fresh funds will then be used by the company to launch new business verticals in the sector rent-to-own.

“We are very excited to launch this new initiative as it will solve the problem of low home ownership for middle-income millennials, who make up the majority of our tenants. In this way, we will not only be a temporary solution for them for a few years, but instead for their whole life," said Travelio Co-founder & CSO Christina Suriadjaja.

In 2019 Travelio got series B funding worth $18 million. This investment round was led by Pavilion Capital and Gobi Partners. Previous investors are said to have been involved, including Vynn Capital, Insignia Ventures Partners, IndoGen Capital, and PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk.
