iPrice: Niche E-Commerce Player Cleans Up, Experiences User Growth

Sorabel and Zilingo experience spikes in monthly users and downloads

iPrice has again issued a summary of the e-commerce competitive landscape in Southeast Asia. Big players such as Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia, and Bukalapak still dominate traffic, number of downloads, and monthly active users in Southeast Asia. It is quite interesting to see the growth of Sorabel, Zilingo, Bhinneka, and Blanja.

Zilingo and Sorabel in the second quarter of 2019 were ranked in the top 10 monthly active users in Indonesia, occupying the ninth and tenth positions, respectively. For the number of downloads, Zilingo and Sorabel are back in order in the top ten. Respectively placed fifth and sixth. Outperform Blibli, JD.id, and Zalora downloads.

After getting Series D pendanaan funding worth 3 trillion Rupiah, Zilingo is aggressively implementing several strategies to boost growth. One of them focuses on the B2B segment through ZAM (Zilingo Asia Mall).

Meanwhile, Sorabel (formerly Sale Stock) seems to be "active" in carrying out a strategy to boost growth, especially after the funding obtained. Sorabel also started experimenting for expansion to the Southeast Asian region.

iPrice Summary this time also reveals some interesting data, such as the average visit websites Monthly Bhinneka experienced a 123% jump compared to the previous quarter.

Visit growth websites also found Blanja. This "red plate" e-commerce platform totaled visits in the quarter of this year, an increase of 71% from the previous quarter. This is also the first time that Blanja has entered the top 10 most visited visits in Indonesia after the last time it was ranked in the same ranking in the fourth quarter of 2017.
