The program offers the opportunity to join and become part of their portfolio.

"For the first year fellowship, we plan to select a dozen or more potential participants. We hope that everyone who wants to develop a startup can eventually set up one; and those who want to seek career placement opportunities can be employed at Intudo portfolio companies," said Eddy.

There are several processes that will be carried out in a series of programs. One of the most important things, encouraging the founder in the portfolio to teach best practices in Indonesia's technology ecosystem. In addition, the program also offers opportunities networking and career guidance for professionals who wish to return to Indonesia for work.

"As for the candidates founder, we will provide them with guidance on the business plan, refining their ideas into actionable steps. When the business plan has been completed, we will introduce you to founder with potential and key recruitment from within fellowship and the Intudo network. After the team has established a business plan, Intudo will provide access to distribution opportunities in the market, such as first customers or business partners," said Eddy.

The program will be limited to prospective applicants who plan to return to Indonesia from overseas within 12 months of application. Participants of this program through Intudo site by providing an overview of their professional aspirations and how they can later contribute to Indonesia's technology ecosystem.

Program support for Indonesian startup founders

Since its launch, Intudo has adopted an approach hybrid deal sourcing, namely sourcing local in Indonesia through Pulkam SEA Turtle, a best-in-class local founder while also engaging with potential fellowship program participants. The company claims that among its portfolio, 95% of the founding team has at least one founder coming from the program.

The company has also established strategic partnerships with universities and the technology community in the United States.

"In this program we do not offer internships at startups or technology companies in Indonesia. However, every year we have a number of scholars placed in our portfolio companies as interns. We encourage them to contact us after graduation to continue working in Intudo portfolio in a more professional role," said Eddy.

Asked how Intudo Ventures supports Indonesian startup founders from the region, Eddy emphasized that in Indonesia, they have collaborated with several well-known universities to support founders and digital talents.

"We have given sessions at ITB, University of Indonesia, and Binus, by sharing our perspectives and experiences with enthusiastic students. Among Indonesian students, we have also placed internship opportunities within corporate portfolio companies," said Eddy.
